From the Covid-19 crisis to green recovery

The 2020 EU Agricultural Outlook conference is scheduled to take place on 16 and 17 December 2020 as an online conference.

This year’s edition will reflect on the lessons learnt from the Covid-19 crisis and look at pathways to a green recovery. It will also offer an opportunity to present and discuss the results of the foresight study on the “Farmers of the future”. The second day will be devoted to the EU agricultural outlook 2020-2030.

The EU Outlook conference has now become a successful annual event for broad exchanges among stakeholders on the market prospects, including the political framework and uncertainties surrounding market developments in the next ten years. Each year the conference coincides with the publication of the annual report on market prospects.

In view of the situation related to the COVID-19 crisis, a new innovative format is being developed, with a reduced length of 2 half-days for the conference.
